About "Just Jane"

Whether you are an long-time Austen lover or you have always wanted to pick up an Austen novel...  ...this blog for you!

How does an online book club work?

1.Join "Just Jane" on Facebook to see which Austen novel we are currently reading.
2. Get the book! Many of Austen's novels are free if you have a Kindle (or cost as little as 99c!). Or enjoy the delight of buying a new book from a bookstore.
3. Read the selected chapters, usually 10-15 each week.
4. Each week read "Just Jane" blog posts for:

-Fun Facts about each novel (did you know that Jane Austen only has 6 published novels?)
-Character Sketches: Heroines, Heroes, and Villains
-Chapter Summaries (um...what's going on??)
-Historical and Social commentary (Just how rich was Mr. Darcy?)
...and much more!

5. Interact with Facebook  "Just Jane" to ask questions, post your favorite quotations, and discuss your favorite chapters and characters with other Jane Austen fans.
